I suspect that system files got corrupted, So I did an sfc /scannow. But it gives an error as 'Windows cannot start this device because its configuration information (in the registry is incomplete or damaged. Broadcom BCM20702 Bluetooth 4.0 USB Device). I tried to 'update driver software' and select the driver manually in device manager. But now it is showing as 'BCM20702A0 unknown device' in device manager. For each one, click Uninstall, then in the next window select the box that says Delete the driver software for this device if it is available. I brought a new Kinivo BTD-400 Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle having Broadcom BCM20702 chipset (its compatible with win10) cuz my old built-in dell wireless 365 broadcom bluetooth wasn't working with windows 10 (but was working with win7 & 8). I have Windows 10 (build 10240) in my Dell Inspiron 1440 laptop.
